BAFPA (Battle Abbey Former Pupils’ Association)
All former pupils and staff of Battle Abbey School are welcome to become members of BAFPA, our alumni organisation, regardless of when they left school. Membership of BAFPA is for life, and free of charge!
BAFPA has two main aims which are;
• to keep ‘Battle Abbey Old Girl Club’ members, ‘Battle-Axes’ and ‘Battle-Exes’ in touch with each other
• to keep ‘Battle Abbey Old Girl Club’ members, ‘Battle-Axes’ and ‘Battle-Exes’, and former staff in contact with Battle Abbey School.
BAFPA was formed in 1976 as a continuation of the original ‘Battle Abbey Old Girls Club’, and until the end of 2016 was run by former member of staff Mrs Monica Steward (French & German Teacher 1972-2007 and Deputy Head until 2003).
BAFPA has a Committee, which meets once a year on Founders' Day, but is run on a day-to-day basis by Mrs Jemma Joyce, Battle Abbey School's Alumni Relations & Development Officer.
